Online Sessions

Why online counselling?

  • Online counselling has been found to be just as effective as face-to-face counselling.

  • No transport costs

  • Convenience - not having to allocate time to travel to and from sessions

  • Sessions from your own home with familiar surroundings and home comforts e.g. pets

  • If you have mobility issues and find it difficult to access therapy rooms

  • Privacy - not seen entering or leaving therapy rooms

  • Anxiety - may be preventing you from going to a therapy room, online therapy can feel safer in your own home 

What I offer 

  • Online counselling sessions via Zoom. 

  • I am a certified and experienced online and telephone counsellor 

  • A confidential, non-judgemental and safe space to share your thoughts and feelings. 

  • A therapeutic relationship in which I am professional, kind and caring and will put you and your needs at the centre of our work together, working towards your goals. 

What do you need?

  • A good connection to the internet

  • A private area where you will not be disturbed

  • Web camera, speakers, microphone (may already be built into laptop or device)

  • Time before the session to ensure you are comfortable and not rushing into the session

  • Time after the session.  Counselling can bring up a host of emotions and it is important to give yourself some time before going back to everyday life.
